Obama is pushing for incentives to make homes more energy efficient to help Americans reduce their utility bills! It’s interesting that in 1973 the payback was 12-18 months to get your money back by adding insulation to your attic.....today it’s less because of the artificial equation...added stimulus rebates...now 40% ROI sounds great and remember once you get the initial payback..it last forever...not bad...beats anything else I could find to invest in????

Being that I work for an Energy Conservation Company we know there are a few ways to “Reduce Your Utility Bill”:

Insulation, Solar and New Energy Efficient Windows and Doors are the 3 major ways to reduce your utility bill. There are other ways like changing your lights, keeping your home set at 78 degrees or higher and other minor things.

One of the most overlooked areas in your home is the attic (insulation)! People will go out and spend $5,000 - $10,000 on a brand new A.C. unit before they will add insulation to their attic space. Insulation is by far the most inexpensive way to reduce your utility bill when it is installed properly... (compared to new A.C. units, Solar Panel Systems, and brand new windows & doors)!

In conclusion, I’m not saying you shouldn’t buy a new A.C. unit because Air Conditioners and Insulation do go hand and hand but, you might want to look into insulation if your watching your budget. Same goes for Solar and Windows & Doors! I would love to hear what you have to say about “How To Reduce Your Utility Bill”
-	Christian
theinsulator@msn.com
